Home-Start in Waverley held a Vintage Morning Tea social gathering to thank their volunteers for all their hard work supporting families in Waverley recently. The get together was held in warm sunshine amid the roses in the beautiful gardens at Farnham Library and was attended by their volunteers – both home-visiting and trustees and the Charity’s Patron Lady Beryl Tindle. They all enjoyed an assortment of cakes baked by the Scheme’s staff and a selection of teas and fresh coffee.

Scheme Manager, Dolores Robertson, said she was very pleased with the turnout; ‘We hope to make this, and the volunteer Christmas Lunch which we held for the first time last December, regular events on our calendar.  Our volunteers do so much for us, giving their time for free, this was a way of showing our appreciation’.
