Home Start in Waverley is celebrating it’s 20th Birthday!
I have only been part of this team for just over 4 years but each day am amazed at the difference our fabulous volunteers can have on the families they spend time with. They encourage, build self esteem and gently support parents to become the best parents that they can be. In turn these parents are then better able to encourage, build self esteem and resilience in their own children.
These children are to become our next generation, therefore what better gift can we give them than to be emotionally secure, resilient, kind and enable them to feel safe, loved and happy.
