Over the past 5 years we have supported 663 families with 1434 children. An average of 133 families per year with 287 children. We have already supported 134 families this year.
The highest number of families supported in any year is 178 with 358 children and the highest number of referrals was 3 years ago with 126.
The average number of referrals is 90 per year or 7.5 per month. This year, following a slow start, we have had 57 referrals averaging 8.5 a month with 10 so far in October. The average number of families being supported at any one time is currently 74. Home-Start is needed now more than it has ever been.
