We recently hosted our ever popular Burns Night Supper.  Guests were treated to the fine sounds of the Scottish bagpipes from piper Hamish Robertson and Burns Night ceremony with Hamish and Douglas Mellor. A delicious menu was laid on, Penny Treeby’s now legendary Mackerel pate starter, followed by traditional Burns fare of ‘haggis, neeps and tatties’, and completed by Ann Tann’s ‘delicious as ever’ dessert choice of sticky toffee pudding or lemon tart.   After the raffle was called, which included some lovely prizes kindly donated by local businesses including; Hogs Back Brewery Company, Benefit Boutique, Brasserie Blanc, Headmasters Salon and Thimble Interiors, and some well deserved sustenance being taken from the well attended bar, the evening turned physical with lively Scottish dancing accompanied and called by popular band The Rogues Gallery.
